i bought philips avent after searching and reading reviews of so many breast pumps.As a working mother i do need a pump which is easy to clean,assemble and use.Avent satisfies all these criteria.I can easily get around 100ml in about 20 min if i am pumping in the morning.You can also pump with one hand while you are holding your baby with the other when he is feeding from the other side.Only thing is that squeaky noise it produces while pumping which is actually really disturbing.Another thing is that we cant use the storage cup directly for feeding since it leaks wen u fit the nipple so I bought an avent bottle to feed.

We bought this pump only a few days back so I know its too early to comment on the performance. But there are a few horror drawbacks of this product which ensure that the experience is not going to improve. First of all, I don't know if its in my product only but it makes a creaking sound every time I press the handle. Yes, every single time. Its so irritating to deal with that sound that you forget any comfort that this product was suppose to provide. The vacuum pad is also not very effective and loses any vacuum created very quickly. I was able to extract far more quantity when I expressed by hands. On top of that, if you manage to extract some milk after a long struggle, its better to transfer it to a bottle otherwise if you try feed your baby by affixing the teat provided to the cups, it will start leaking. YES, IT LEAKS. Despite the tall claim given on the box. I have tried to use this in best possible manner and have used the Feeding bottles which are of great use and quality, this product is a DISAPPOINTMENT
