Blu-ray Disc/ DVD player

This is a product which can be use for home purpose.

This is good player ... I seriously have no issue in regards to the work-ability of the player. I have tested it for last 72 hours and tested with all formats .. it plays exceptionally well with no issue as such. This is a basic Blue Ray player (with no LED display), and No Component out or AV Out .So people without option of HDMI stay away from this player . Though Philips confirms that the player is equipped to play MP4 video file but it doesn't. HDMI cable is not supplied with this product. So please buy separately.

I am a journalist by profession and whenever I have some time for my own, I just on my friend :) and enjoy decent movies with it. Sometimes I download some nice videos from net and use my pen drive and the USB link to enjoy then on big screen which is again a Philips TV. So I am really a proud owner of a Philips 'jodi'; a nice Blue Ray Player (for which I am writing this review) and a big screen Plilips TV attached to it. Purchased this product to use it along with my 3D full hd led tv n i must confess that picture n sound never seemed so clear n enjoyable. Once v had friends get to gether at home over drinks, food n movies. Every 1 enjoyed the movie so much that few vowed to buy the philips product very soon. As far as i know one couple even bot d same model. So next time movie party is at their place. Cheers

this one is small. reads approx all disks and formats. even the scratched one's. value for money. the negative points are no led display and rca cable option missing . hdmi connectivity is there. but, that's okay for modern day tv's. otherwise, it is superb.

Very clear Audio and video quality and very user friendly..

Excellent player with support for not only BD/DVD/VCD but also for playing movie files off USB drives. Very easy to setup and menu is simple and very basic. It plays HD video smoothly from USB as well as from Blue ray disc. I played 1080p HD avi files from my usb drive works like a charm. One thing I would like to change is the remote control buttons which are very rubbery and does have good feel when pressed. Also Some form of display in the front panel would have been better.

This small wonder is awesome to use! The best part about this product is that it play Blueray files seamlessly from your external hard-drive which many Bluerays have issues playing. It is one of the most less expensive Blueray players and does the work excellently! P.S: haven't tries WMA etc. formats; however plays AVI etc.
